Changes to our freight operation at Sydney Airport

We’ve been moving freight across Australia and around the world for almost 100 years and manage more freight terminal facilities in Australia than any other operator.  Our Sydney facilities are among the largest dedicated on-airport freight facilities in the world and we’re proud of the part we play in keeping global freight moving.

In early 2020, the airport infrastructure upgrade being managed by the airport operator, Sydney Airport Corporation Ltd (SACL), will result in changes to what can be lodged and collected at Terminal 4, the domestic freight terminal on the corner of Shiers Ave and Fifth St).

From February 2020, the majority of Qantas Freight’s domestic operation will move to our facilities on Link Rd Mascot.
Our current Domestic Terminal on the corner of Shiers Ave and Fifth Street will continue to service only pet and animal movements and Priority shipments under 50kg per piece.
