Human remains and ashes

Arranging travel for a loved one who has passed away is probably the last thing families want to have to worry about during a highly emotional time, which is why we’re here to help.

We understand that losing someone is one of the hardest things that anyone will have to go through.

Our Customer Service team work directly with funeral homes to manage every step of the journey and return your departed loved one back home to their final resting place.

How to book

All booking requests for the transport of the deceased must be made through an authorised funeral director.

If you're a member of the Funeral Directors Association, please make a booking through our Contact us form.

If you have an account with us, remember to log in to have your details pre-populated. Select ‘Special Request’ and complete all the required information. Human remains and ashes can only be booked as Q-GO Priority. This reflects the importance of the shipment and ensures the highest standards of care and attention are provided during transit.

If you know that passengers are planning to travel, it's important that you provide their flight details as you complete the form.

Once submitted, you’ll be sent a reference number that you can quote when contacting us.

Remember to book human remains and ashes under one airway bill (AWB), and any additional pieces (e.g. flowers) under a separate AWB.
