When impossible deadlines require shipments to be moved more urgently than usual, there's Q-GO Priority, with priority access to the Qantas flight of your choice.

Changes to Q-Go Priority Bookings

From 30 Jul 2021, the option to select a specific flight for a Q-Go Priority booking will be limited to the following accredited agents: 
Regulated Air Cargo Agents (RACA), Accredited Air Cargo Agents (AACA) and Known Consignors (KC). All other customers selecting Q-Go Priority can select a lodgement time for the booking.

NOTE: All animal shipments travelling as Q-Go Priority should be booked via our Customer Service team and will be exempt from booking fees. Find out more here.

  • Latest booking window - for eligible customers, book up to 75 minutes before departure for selected goods so last-minute freight can be accommodated

* Due to potential schedule changes on our domestic network, effective for bookings from 23 March 2020, the Money Back Guarantee usually available on Q-Go Priority will not apply as shipments may not travel on the selected flight. All other product benefits remain unchanged.

Domestic service times

  • Booking and acceptance times are a guide only and apply to capital cities and Qantas flights (not Jetstar)
  • Times may vary in some regional ports and additional handling time is required for dangerous goods shipments
  • Shipments over 50kg are subject to available wide body capacity
  • Freight requiring screening at the terminal must be presented at least 15 mins earlier than pre-screened freight to cater for additional security measures

Cut-off times vary depending on the weight of the individual pieces, the departure port and security screening requirements.

Screening requirements are in place for freight departing from Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Canberra, Coolangatta, Darwin, Hobart, Launceston, Maroochydore, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney and Townsville.
All freight must either be pre-screened and presented with a Consignment Security Declaration (CSD) or screened at the freight terminal.
