Service times

  • Booking and acceptance times are a guide only and apply to capital cities and Qantas flights (not Jetstar)
  • Times may vary in some regional ports and additional handling time is required for dangerous goods shipments
  • Shipments over 50kg are subject to available wide body capacity
  • Freight requiring screening at the terminal must be presented at least 15 mins earlier than pre-screened freight to cater for additional security measures 

Lodgement cut-off times for domesitc Q-GO Priority shipments apply for accredited agents who are eligible to select a flight when booking.
Cut-off times vary depending on the weight of the individual pieces, the departure port and security screening requirements.

Eligibility

  • Available to all customers booking Q-GO Priority for a shipment within Australia (domestic freight). ​
  • This includes both accredited agents  (Regulated Air Cargo Agents, Accredited Air Cargo Agents and Known Consignors) and non-accredited agents, and retail customers.

Applicability

  • Applies when a shipment is not available for collection at the Q-GO Priority collection time. The collection time is shown when a customer makes a booking.
  • If the shipment is not available for collection at that applicable Q-GO Priority collection time, the customer is entitled to compensation.
  • Shipments are carried subject to the Qantas domestic conditions of carriage.

Compensation

  • A customer who suffers a delay caused by Qantas is entitled to receive a reimbursement of the amount paid for a shipment within Australia booked as Q-GO Priority.
  • Reimbursement is in the form of an offset against your account balance owing to Qantas Freight (Account customers) or a reimbursement to your original form of payment (non-account or retail customers).

¹ The ability to select a specific flight for a Q-GO Priority booking will be limited to accredited agents Regulated Air Cargo Agents (RACA)Accredited Air Cargo Agents (AACA) and Known Consignors (KC). All other customers selecting Q-GO Priority can select a lodgement time for the booking.

² Money Back Guarantee exclusions:

  • Specific Shipment Characteristics: Commodities which are considered Dangerous Goods or shipments which contain Dangerous Goods (as set out in Qantas domestic conditions of carriage).
  • Late Acceptance: Customer acceptance which does not meet Qantas Freight’s Q-GO Priority acceptance cut-off times.
  • Factors beyond our control: including (but not limited to): acts of God, riots, strikes, war, local disputes or civil commotions, acts of government or their agencies, weather conditions, third party disruptions, inability to obtain sufficient fuel or utilities, defaults or omissions made by the forwarder, consignee or agent and other force majeure events as set out in the Qantas domestic conditions of carriage.
  • When other compensation or recovery is available to the customer: where a customer has received or is entitled to receive, under another arrangement with Qantas, compensation or recovery for their Q-GO Priority shipment not meeting the relevant delivery or collection time commitment.
