Track and Trace is coming to more Australian ports

Our fully integrated digital scanning system is designed to transform how freight is processed at our terminals.

Track and Trace digitises the entire lodgement and collection process to deliver faster, safer and more efficient freight movements, while providing greater visibility every step of the way.

Already widely used in our major ports across Australia and Los Angeles, the technology will be rolling out to selected Australian regional ports (Hobart, Launceston, Townsville, Rockhampton and Mackay) in the coming months.

Key benefits

Improved tracking

More visibility of your shipment with online tracking updates showing where your freight is and when it’s ready for collection.

Safe operations

Built-in links to booking data proactively trigger safety checks, enhancing existing safety measures and helping to reduce mishandling delays.

More sustainable

Shifting to digital solutions mean better accuracy and less paper with every uplift, reducing waste and improving our carbon footprint.

What this means for you?

For bookers

Create bookings online just as you do today. When you have multiple AWBs for drivers to lodge or collect at the same time, we recommend generating lodgement IDs which help streamline processing at the terminals.

For drivers

Once the new technology is in place in each regional port, drivers will be directed to the digital kiosk where they will be able to check in by entering in their AWB or lodgement ID details on the screen.
